Miss Red’s will be glad to ship non-perishable items to you any time of the year. We will ship chocolate items during cool weather since, as you can imagine, Texas summers can make chocolate turn into a puddle. Our non-perishable items include, but are not necessarily limited to, pound cakes, bar items such as Lemon Bars, Orangies, Texas Cornbread, cookies of all types, rum, bourbon or Limoncello balls and some pies. In addition, we can certainly ship cheese straws and cheese savories, toasted nuts, muffins, homemade bread and other items you wouldn’t refrigerate.

We will advise you of the shipping charge as soon as your package is boxed and weighed. We must charge for freight - never a packaging or handling charge here at Miss Red’s. We ship by FedEx Ground and, since we get a small discount, we pass that savings along to our customers. Your package will more than likely arrive in a sturdy egg box, which we have found is one of the best packing boxes available to us, plus this allows us to recycle instead of dispose of these great boxes. We try to ship on Monday or Tuesday for arrival by the weekend as we have found it takes that long to get something across country. This way, our package does not sit around in a warehouse all weekend. We will be glad to ship by faster service, if you wish to cover the cost. We cannot ship outside the contiguous United States.

If you have questions about this shipping policy or wonder if an item is “shippable”, just email us and we will get right back to you.

Thanks for your interest in Miss Red’s goodies - we can’t wait to cook for you.
